The double floating bars is relatively a new concepts of bracing pattern underneath the spruce top sound-board, it was introduced by Spanish classic guitar makers who reluctant to support the western luthier's approach using all kind of synthetic carbon fibre bracing in order to achieve longer sustain tones in classical guitars making. I found it the double floating bars works nicely well in addition to traditional Manuel Torres radial bracing concepts, it does not compromise the original tone woods sounds (unlike any carbon fibre bracing guitars which sometime can be overwhelmingly disturbing if it was made by less experience luthiers) by adding the purity, sharpness of intonation, logher sustain while preserving the natural sweetness spanish classical guitars sound. Currently the writer recognized as the double floating bars concept is patented by the Alhambra's luthiers in Spain. I am sure there will be a few other luthiers followers who experimenting with this architecture but nevertheless I recognized that Alhambra was the pioneer on introducing this system.

Double Floating bars effect on trebles : in my opinion it does add on the sweetness & depth of the resonance, hence you will feel prolong it's sustain whithout degrading the tonal wood of beautiful German Spruce AAA quality top. The German Spruce remain as my solid top sound board in classical guitars as fundamentally produces crisp, transparent treble and the sweetness tones will get better over the time as the guitar get more seasoned when you diligently use it as daily practice.

Double Floating bars effect on bass : are you familiar with loud & impulsive lower bass typically found in student spanish guitars ? unlike the flamenco bass guitar timbre, the classical repertoire needs more elegant deep and some sustain with precise lower frequency pitch tones, thus a normal manual torres bracing could sometime struggling to achieve this. The double floating bars have adequately add the tonal characteristic that classic guitar repertoire would need it very much. So, it is not a bombastic & impulsive lower bass that you will get in this guitar but more gracefully deep classical bass tones with some decent sustain can be achieved here.

The double floating bars allows the luthiers to cut slightly thinner top than the ordinary Torres architecture as it is not directly attach on the top lower surface but physically floating with some hooks on the horizontal bracing. The overall result the top will get more support in stiffness & work harder to deliver acoustic sound projection. A brilliant  newapproach which still work around on the traditional Torres architecture.
