Laminated Palosanto (Indian Rosewood) Back and Side with Ebony Fretboard, double Rosewood bindings contrast with Yellow linings back/side & double black linings top make this student guitar looks awesome !

The model 4P is the lowest Rosewood back/side model, the cheapest model with Ebony fretboard is this one. It is a premium student model that comes with 7 fan bracing of symmetrical Torres architecture (the lower models with 3 fan bracings). As such, this is the first refine model compare to the earlier ones, you will expect more accuracy for every single treble resonance. The 4PA with solid European spruce top offers you for a more lively & crisp treble tones, clearer pitch frequency less mellow than model 4P. When it is new out of the box, I saw the solid spruce top promise for more timbre quality head-room over the time.

 

The 2012 new model 4P A delivery
We received the latest delivery end of Jan 2012, once opened & tuned out of the box, the 4P A immediately have decent tone quality, with slight improvement as compare with last year shipments. Alhambra commits to improve their product lines over the time.

The 4P A physical traits
Perfect craftsmanship, world class polish/shiny gloss finish, careful choice of woods matching among the rich Indian Rosewood dark grains, yellow linings, solid German spruce & the red Rosette colour/design. I am very pleased to witness the overall looks as it is unusually crafted by a Spain maker at this affordable price tag. The neck thickness is 22mm and nut width = 52.4 mm, the strings spacing = 42.4mm. This is the starting point of a serious student models which will last as long as you want to practice.

Our goals is to present every single Alhambra guitars in fresh condition when you purchase it from our guitar shops. We pay premium express air forwarder (direct flight), store it at correct temperature & humidity while settling down with the local climate perfectly. When buying a correct Spain Classic guitars, price is not the only consideration, you shall equally curious to know if the guitar you are about to purchase are in 'fresh & at peak condition' at your hand. Selectively we restring the guitars stock when we see deems necessity.
