The model 2C A have 3 symmetrical Torres fan bracing style like model 1C but with addition of 2 bottom side bars to the left & right perpendicular to the fan bracing. As such, you will expect more enhance treble definition than the lowest model 1C, combine with the solid European spruce materials, it offers you for a lively & crisp treble tones, clearer pitch frequency than model 1C. When it is new out of the box, I saw the solid spruce top will promise you more improvement head-room timbre over the time.

The 2012 new model 2C A delivery
We just received the latest delivery end of Jan 2012, once opened & tuned out of the box, the 2C A immediately sound better & better in each every hours. I observed there are tones quality improvement as compare with last year shipments. Alhambra commits to improve their product lines.

The 2C A physical traits
Perfect craftsmanship, world class polish/shiny gloss finish, careful choice of woods matching among the dark mahogany grains, maple wood bindings, solid spruce & the latest Rosette colour/design. I am very pleased to witness the overall looks as it is unusually crafted by a Spain maker at this affordable price tag. The neck thickness is 22mm and nut width = 52.4 mm, the strings spacing = 42.4mm. New 2012 rosette with red/black gothic ornaments adds the value on this model.

The 2C A special highlight & Verdict
There is something a little unusual with model 2C A on this shipment which worth to share with you. On fret 1 until 4, it has C neck shape while gradually on 5th frets onward with semi D shape which bring great benefits to beginners as easier to handle the neck !. I am very surprise I got this model with this custom shape neck, frankly not very sure if this is just an accident only in this batch of shipment or it will be like this forever. The bad news, we only have a few limited stock on this model at present. Alhambra are well known crafting carefully the semi-D shape neck on every models with very smooth gloss neck finish. It will add your comfort feeling when you lay your left hand fingers on the neck.

Verdict on model 2C A : at this price-tag, you got a made-in Spain guitar, beautiful, professional looks & decent tones, easy handling, it is a safe choice for beginners rather than you will splurge your money for any other Asian made classic guitars. Resale value could be higher with the rare and excellent solid European Spruce grains.

We pay premium express air forwarder (direct flight), store it at correct temperature & humidity while settling down with the local climate perfectly.
