Alhambra Model : 10P A, solid even grains of Abeto (German Spruce) top, solid darker/more contrast grains of P=Palosanto / Indian Rosewood Back and Side, Gold chrome Alhambra machine heads with ebony buttons & ornaments, the 2012 looks is upgraded with new gorgeous green/black rosette.

Note: we never imported model 10C, the C code represent Mahogany back/side, Mahogany is the wood with lighter density than the P code (Palosanto or Rosewood) approx weighting only 48 - 53 kg/cu-ft which will NOT make any sense to select Mahogany for an advance bracing construction like in model 10. Beside of much cheaper price, less attractive looking Mahogany will never match the outcome of full harmonics of solid AAA grade Indian Rosewood back/side expecially with special bracing of model 10. If you are confuse with Alhambra naming & sizing, please do consult us, the expert in classical guitars industry.

The model 10P A have different inner bracing top than the previous lower models, the piece that we have in stock have extraordinary gorgeous darker, some reddish grains in the book-match centre & more contrast Indian Rosewood back. With solid top quality German spruce top in almost perfect 1mm each parallel sharper grains, it is an assurance a more serious classic guitar. As the result, model 10P A offer you richer harmonic with sustain deeper treble resonance with the top, clearer pitch frequency in every single strings/fret, longer trebles & bass sustain and balance tones across strings. When it is inspected out of the box, we feel this model has it’s strong character like a grand piano and in the long run it may promise you for more decent sound improvement over the time if you maintain & keep it in proper condition.
The inner construction catch my detail observation, bracings are made from better quality of solid wood with properly pointy scalloped bracing fins. It is NOT following to the traditional old-school of Torres but it offer 5 scalloped bracing spruce wood fins, carefully shapes sharper & taller than earlier models. The main difference is the special ‘Floating “U” Bridge’ under the bridge which connect each 5 fins but it floating against the spruce top. This special floating U bridge allow the top produce deeper resonance, much clearer treble as all the 5 fins work together to response every single notes. You will find at this model have the ‘grand-piano’ like of harmonics frequency or higher head-room for tone colouring than the traditional 7 fins bracing. Overall assessment this is the starting level of the advance all solid woods serious models.

The 2012 new model 10P A delivery
We just received the latest delivery after Lunar New Year holiday over, once opened & tuned out of the box, the 10P A immediately offer decent sound and becoming beter & better in each every hours after you played it. I found there are sound quality refinement / improvement as compare to previous years of shipments.Ahambra decided to apply with new 2012 luxurious green crossed & black ornaments rosette design which only add the value & professional looks of this model. Who said that Alhambra never put improvement year on year on every models ? this is just one the many proof list.

The 10P A physical traits
Perfect workmanship & world class polish/ super shiny gloss finish that is my first impression on 10P A came with sharper, more contrast between darker & reddish solid rosewood grains quality than the lower all solid wood models. This is the model which you can find 5 bracing fins interconnected with a lateral floating U bridge parallel underneath the guitar’s bridge of the inner guitar’s top body (see pictures), a guarantee of much a break-through inner bracing construction which will translates into ‘grand-piano’ like sound with longer projection & more power overall. The inner kerf to the top and back are made of better solid woods which add-on the stiffness overall body structure. The scalloped bracings top & back are shaped more aerodynamically ensuring smoother acoustic wave propagation toward the sound-hole. Alhambra crafted carefully the semi-D shape neck on this model, ensure swift handling & more comfortable play. The smooth gloss neck finish add my comfort feeling that yes it is a decent made guitars, you shall agree with me to treasure good feeling when your left hand hold the neck. The neck thickness is 22mm and nut width = 52.4 mm, the strings spacing = 42.4mm

Our goals is to present every single Alhambra guitars in fresh condition when you purchase it from our guitar shops. We pay premium express air forwarder (direct flight), store it at correct temperature & humidity while settling down with the local climate perfectly. When buying a correct Spain Classic guitars, price is not the only consideration, you shall equally curious to know if the guitar you are about to purchase are in 'fresh & at peak condition' at your hand. Selectively we restring the guitars stock when we see deems necessity. Alhambra use D'Addario classic nylon strings as the standard, at certain music types you can experience different tonal characteristic by altering the strings with different materials, such as carbon fiber clear strings, titanium, carbon composite, etc ... which are available in different brands in our both outlets like Sevilla, Savarez, Hannabach brands
