All Washburn guitars are pre-checked, pre adjusted for Singapore condition, we guarantee neck truss rod is adjusted at the right position with local set-up to ensure you play easily with this guitar ! The quoted price includes the services cost that worth SG$100 to perform 4 steps set-up services

What does it means by 4 steps set-up services ?

(1) neck integrity restoration, trus rod adjustment & measurement of neck straightness (15 minutes)

(2) nut filing adjustment. All factory mass produce guitars will unlikely out from the factory with nicely fitted nut groove height, it is true case / expectation for any brands. Filling it as according to the right applied strings gauges are mandatory, so you will feel un-pain / easy to press the string especially on above frets. Doing this step is time consuming task, need experts to understand the strings diameter & typical height groove relative to fretboard. (this task need approximately 30 + minutes job)

(3) saddle radius correction & height adjustment. Again, think about a guitar factory who produces >3000 guitars / day, do you think they will have time to reshape every single saddle as according to the final step of guitar testing ? here we will do it for you. The essential task is to ensure it's radius match / mimic with the fretboard' fretwire radius. (this task of manual filing need approx. 45 minutes job)

 

(4) finally fretting correction services. Occasionally we spotted cris-cross among fretwires which keep buzzing ill fated strings in certin positions, we manually fixed it for you. (time spent approx 30 min job)

Total 4 steps is approximately a half day job / guitar set-up service if everything goes smoothly, again sometimes not the case, then we end-up doing 1 guitar set up/day.
