Luthier Bass 2A Guitar, model 2A is an alternative model of our less expensive bass guitar with laminated back / side Indian Rosewood. The body measurement follow the Niibori Bass 's size, nut to saddle = 700mm, good quality gold head machine with enhanced Ramirez fan bracing tone woods inner architecture to enhance crisp & clear treble while deeper and more powerful mid & bass tones. We selectively picked good laminate Indian Rosewood for back/side and laminated it with solid Sonokeling (inner side) or Javanese Rosewood from Indonesia. Essentially this model is a 2 different type of solid rosewood joint together to make up a firm/rigid back & side construction. With the quarter sawn scallop bracings and Ramirez fan bracing style in this unique bass guitar will ensure guitar's soundboard (top) resonate well with the designated pitches of every frequency. The Ramirez's design have a Transversal tone bar which allow the treble fan bracing to resonate sharply against every high frequency fret positions. The a-symmetrical fan bracing in this template allow the mid & bass to produce more powerful sounds. This is not an ordinary bass classic guitar as physically similar to Niibori bass ™ guitars but the unique tone bracings are aligned to resonate well for low B pitch on 1st string or 7 semi-notes lower than ordinary prime guitar’s tuning. As such, the scalloped shaped bracings, their angle positions & length are adapted to response those special low frequency pitches.

The Bass 2A guitars have Nut to Saddle length = 700 mm, we always use cow bone nut and saddle for this standard.

We recommend to use Hannabach BASS strings set made-in Germany. Hannabach' founder, Mr. Werner Hannabach knew excatly what it takes to make the correct strings to response lower bass pitches, so after much of research, he came up with those special diameter & materials to ensure bass guitarist will fine correct tension and produce lively, sustain & powerfull bass low frequency tones
