The Vintage Resonator guitar is an all mahogany acoustic guitar whose sound is produced by spider spun aluminium cone (resonator) instead of the traditional wooden sound board (top). They became popular in the 1920s when amps usage was uncommon and their distinctive sound was best fit especially in bluegrass and blues musical styles.
