Why we chose the exotic Bolivian Rosewood (Caviuna) ?

Bolivian Rosewood or Machaerium scleroxylon / Santos Palisander / Caviuna is the most exotic rosewood species for high end guitar's body making. Originated from Bolivia rain forest (latin America), this timber has higher density than Teak woods and be priced at higher price than the Indian Rosewood’s price. The higher the woods’ density will make the better of the guitar's body quality. This species are well known of its curvy grains with reddish tone of brown color and sometime with yellow sap woods. There are a few other species within Dalbergia (Rosewood) family available from different countries with even higher prices than the standard Indian Rosewood. The prices are varied mainly because of the supply constraints, the beauty of the grains, colors & the density of the timbers.

ROSETTE STYLE
To match the thin-body style, we chose a new design of a black marquetry inlays which in contrast to the fair spruce top. Simple marquetry style that delivers firm & elegant final touch.

 

The Venetian Cutaway style 

Here is the macro looks of the deep Venetian cutaway style. This model has 20 frets (instead of normally only 19 frets), with deeper venetian cut, you will have a better access toward the last fret.
The solid spruce top were selectively picked & harvested from one of the best tonewood quality to ensure you will hear the "ringing spruce sound"

In the design phase, we searched the best available USA brand pick-up/ electronic on-board preamp. The Fishman Presys + was chosen (treble, mid, bass equalizer, notch filter, brilliance, phase toggle and built in digital tuner) to amplify this guitar sound naturally for on-stage performers, then we make as thin as possible the body' thickness and here is the result the most feedback resistant within its class.
