The Crossover Florentine cut guitar is the choice for classic guitarist who want to embrace on new music journey (bossanova, jazz, blues) without leaving their nylon string natural feels but wanted narrower neck-width (fretboard) with semi-radius neck (the radius is 20" instead of 16" for typical acoustic guitars). Unlike the clumsy full size classic guitar width (normal classic neck width = 52mm) with no radius, the Crossover guitar's 48mm nut width is good enough to perform for any hard-core classic repertoires while your heart & soul will give 100% nod when you share the same guitar for new era music such as blues, bossanova & Jazz. If you feel difficult to hold bar chords progression on your traditional classical guitar, then try this model & you will get instant improvement by yourself.
For acoustic guitarist native, the CrossOver is the best bridging guitar and embrace your acoustic fingerstyle on this narrower nylon string neck, without sacrificing too much on the radius neck feeling that you have been familiar with. The resonance ? you will amaze on the quality of this guitar top vibration & harmonics, something that a native X-bracing acoustic guitar will never deliver, this could be your favourite nylon strings guitar.
The Crossover naturally comes with low action strings set up and with the double actions truss rod, it fetures more freedom to decide on your final setting, in contrary, it is impossible to do it in a typical classic guitar. The saddle is with cow bone quality.
To the pure classic guitarist, the semi radius 20" fretboard with neck width 48mm remain the better choice, you will play fast scales with less mistakes and less stressfull strecthes among fingers. The strings spacing on the saddle/bridge remain the same measurement = 59 mm. The neck shape is C shape with 20.5 mm thickness is the slimmest in the industry.
The head machines come with custom plate design.
What is Indian Rosewood ?
Indian Rosewood or Dalbergia Latifolia is the most popular rosewood timber species for high end guitar's body making. Originated from Southern part of India (Kerala), this timber has higher density than Teak woods and be priced at higher price from typical mahogany & teak woods materials price. The higher the density, the better of the guitar's body quality. There are many other species within the same Dalbergia (Rosewood) family available from different countries and a few of them are priced even higher than Indian Rosewood as the base price standard of dalbergia family. The prices are varied mainly because of the supply constraints, the beauty of the grains, colors & the density of the timbers.
