The rosewood for the -10 series is drawn from southern India on the coast of the Arabian sea. This wood forms the backbone of this series of instruments. Jean Larrivee walks the log booms in British Columbia sourcing the perfect Sitka Spruce soundboard. Each of the single piece mahogany necks are individually selected for weight, strength, and colour. Delux abalone inlays decorate the ebony fretboard and bridge. The abalone also enhances the purfling around the soundboard and sound hole. The frets are individually bevelled and leveled to ensure perfect comfort and playability.
