News : Godin Guitars, Mr. Patrick Godin was in town for a half-day visit (17 Nov 2011) at Luthier Guitar, Orchard Plaza #03-11, Sgp. In this occassion, he shared the history of the Norman brand since the late 60s and has been gaining brand recognition strongly in Canada since early 70s where his father (Robert) bought the entire shares of the company (note : from Mr. Normann Baucher luthier, the first founder) by end of 70s. Since the full acquisition period, the Norman guitars division keep the same employees and presently continue employing the 2nd and even the 3rd generation of the first generation La Patrie skillfull luthiers. The brand tradition are preserved while Robert have been inventing many new production technology & innovation breakthrough and from year to year constantly refining the Norman guitars design until today.
